3 Affirmations to Help You Find More Peace In the Chaos of Life

One thing that many people have been sharing with me lately is this unsettled feeling that they can’t seem to shake.

COVID restrictions have lifted and I think people thought that things would just return back to “normal”, whatever that means.

No matter what you believe about COVID, the truth is that we have all been under a constant state of heightened stress for years now.

This type of stress completely alters the very fabric of our beings.

Although things may have settled down a bit, our systems are still on high alert.
Ready and waiting to protect us against the next potential threat.

So this month I want to do a deep dive into talking about finding inner peace in the midst of continued chaos.

Because I truly believe that finding peace is an inside out job.

We can’t look for it outside of ourselves in situations or people, because we won’t ever find it there.

I also believe in the power of the collective community.

So I want to ask you to join me and connect with the power of this community by joining me in saying or meditating on specific affirmations each day, either at the beginning or end of your day?

Here are the specific affirmations I’ll be focusing on this month:

️Every breath I take calms me and connects me to Divine peace within.

Our breath is the anchor that we carry at all times within us.

This affirmation is great to say while putting your hand on your belly, and feeling it rise and fall, as you breathe in and out.

Chaos and anxiety disconnect us from ourselves.

This type of breathing reconnects us to our bodies.

️I release worry over the future.

This is great for those of us who are struggling with anxiety and uncertainty concerning the future.

It reminds us that we can make a different choice (peace) at any moment.

I don’t believe we always choose anxiety or worry, I 100% believe that it can pop up out of the blue or against our will.

But I do believe that when we notice it, we can choose to perpetuate it, or we can choose practices that bring us more peace.

️I focus on what I can control, and let go of what I can’t.

We are each only responsible for and able to control what we put out into the world and how we respond to what comes our way.

We can’t control how someone will respond or react to us or what we share, no matter how carefully we craft the message or how good our intentions are.

So, focus on your journey, your actions, habits, patterns and behaviors.

That’s how you take your power and your peace back!
